The Fête grows into the cultural region
Umsonst und draußen – unter diesem Motto steht die Fête de la Musique in Chemnitz auch in diesem Jahr am 25. September 2020. Diesmal wollen wir die Fête gemeinsam mit euch an einem Freitagnachmittag einläuten, die perfekte Gelegenheit, um durch eine musikalische, bunte und vielfältige Chemnitzer Innenstadt zu schlendern. Euch erwarten wie immer verschiedene Bühnen und kleine Straßenmusikerplätze rund um den Roten Turm und den Marktplatz mit Musikerinnen und Musikern aus verschiedenen Genres und Kulturkreisen. Zur Fête de la Musique gibt es kaum einen Platz ohne Musik, Tanz oder Theater.
Und übrigens: Eintritt kostet die Fête, ganz im Sinne ihres Erfinders Jack Lang keinen. Eure Geldbörse braucht ihr lediglich für ein kühles Getränk im Schatten oder für Speisen an unserer kleinen Food-Meile, an der sich Gastronom*innen aus der Stadt um euer Wohl kümmern. Jeder ist eingeladen, in der gesamten Region mit uns zu feiern oder selbst zu musizieren – wenn auch ihr ein Teil unseres Programms sein wollt, könnt ihr euch ab sofort auf unserer Internetseite fete-chemnitz.de anmelden.
Free and Outdoors - this is the motto of the Fête de la Musique in Chemnitz, the street music festival which will take place once again this year on the 25st of September 2020.
Join us on a Friday afternoon to celebrate together the beginning of the summer! This will be the perfect opportunity to stroll around the melodic, colorful and diverse city centre of Chemnitz. As always, you can expect different stages in the small streets, and many squares around the "Roter Turm" and the "Neumarkt" with different genre of music and artists from all over the world. In the Fête de la Musique there is hardly a place without music, dance or theatre.
And by the way: There is no entrance fee for The Fête, just like its founder Jack Lang wanted! You only need your wallet for a cool drink in the shadow or for a meal at our little street-food stands, where gastronomes from the city will satisfy your appetite. Everybody is invited to celebrate with us throughout the region and if you like you can even make music yourself!
