How startups work and what corporates can learn from that

Startups are on the rise. For some years now, newcomers disrupted existing business models of established companies: Airbnb the hotel industry, Netflix the TV stations, these are just a few examples of many. But why are start-ups so fast and innovative? Which methods can be derived? And what can corporates learn from this?

The aim of this workshop is for participants to understand why many start-ups are so successful, which methods can be derived from them and which can be transferred to their own company.


About the speaker:
Carolin Gattermann has done a lot of work in PR and marketing for various companies and agencies before she entered the start-up scene. For about 5 years she was responsible for corporate communications at NRW's largest start-up incubator and accelerator: STARTPLATZ. As Co-Founder & Managing Director of moversXshakers UG she helps to build up Startup Ecosystems and organizes the Startup Grind as well as the Startup SAFARI Düsseldorf. In addition, she not only applies her specialist knowledge to her own communication, but also passes it on to entrepreneurs and students as a startup coach under the name "Bekannt ohne Budget".
