The Cap San Diego is not only a (fully seaworthy) museum ship, which has long been moored in the Port of Hamburg, but also a location with countless small and large stages, which are not necessarily recognizable as such at first glance: the salon, the pool deck , the hatches, the bow, the stern, the bridge ... they are all ideal for cozy and family-friendly singer-songwriter concerts in every season.

In cooperation with BRIDGE GIGS, the Cap San Diego regularly organizes the concert series "Bordmusik & Backfisch" once a month from 2020 onwards. Changing newcomers - musicians and small bands - enter different areas of the ship, which become the stage. The audience comes on board without knowing where the concert will take place. There are delicious fish sandwiches and drinks. The whole thing is organized by BRIDGE GIGS: bridge-builder Anne-Katrin Gülck brings live music to unusual places and designs innovative concert series that make people curious and memorable.

The prelude to the new series will take place this year: on November 13, 2019, the "Grande dame" of the Hamburg-based open-stage scene FELI will perform their own songs. Where on the ship? On the bridge the Cap San Diego.
