Eine Deutschland-Sinfonie
What is German? Goethe? Martin Luther? Adolf Hitler? Countless poets and thinkers have tackled this question – and the composer Mark Scheibe now makes another attempt. »Eine Deutschland-Sinfonie« (A German Symphony) is the name of his new project for three opera singers and chamber orchestra, inspired by the Heiner Müller play »Germania«.

Since 2008, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Körber Foundation have gathered the international community of music educators every two years to collectively explore the opportunities and challenges of music education work. »The Art of Music Education« takes place for the seventh time in 2020. The symposium has previously dealt with the central topics of »Role«, »Young Audiences«, »Alliances« »Heritage« and »Cooperation with Schools«, during which numerous prominent speakers from music education and various disciplines shared their experiences.
