GOTTHARD & MAGNUM gemeinsam auf Tour
Ob dieses geniale Tournee-Package direkt vom Himmel gefallen ist? Die legendären Schweizer Rocker Gotthard haben ja nicht zuletzt dank ihrer Megaballade „Heaven“ einen guten Draht nach oben und auch die Briten Magnum kennen sich seit dem 1988er-Hitalbum „Wings Of Heaven“ gut in überirdischen Soundsphären aus. Headliner Gotthard und Very Special Guest Magnum haben in ihren Jahrzehnte langen Karrieren natürlich noch wesentlich mehr Harmonien, Hymnen und Hardrockepen für die Ewigkeit geschaffen.
Wurden Gotthard zu Beginn ihrer Karriere vor weit über 25 Jahren noch unter dem einfältigen Werbespruch „Mein Gott, sind die hart“ als Schwermetaller verkauft, haben sich die Eidgenossen inzwischen schon lange aus diesem viel zu engen Image-Korsett befreit. Mit großen und eingängigen Melodien, sowie angemessener Härte haben sich Gotthard zu einer eigenen und verlässlichen Größe entwickelt, die es nicht nötig hat auf billige Slogans zurückzugreifen, um Aufmerksamkeit zu erzielen. Ihre Musik spricht für sich. Klassiker wie „Mountain Mama“, „Starlight“, Anytime Anywhere“, „One Life One Soul“ und Millionen verkaufte Platten mit Gold- Platin- und Diamantauszeichnungen sprechen eine deutliche Sprache. 16 ihrer Longplayer gingen auf Nummer 1 in der heimischen Hitparade, wo garantiert auch das 2020er-Werk landen wird.
Nachdem die Legenden aus Lugano im Kanton Tessin zuletzt oft akustisch unterwegs waren, werden nächstes Jahr wieder Strom und Rock aufgedreht. Mit einem neuen starken Album, das beim renommierten Label Nuclear Blast erscheint, geht es dann auf Schweizer Art und Weise wieder ab und auf den Gipfel des Rockolymps in Richtung Himmel. The globally highly successful Rock band Magnum has been active since 1972. Currently, the ingenious vocal and guitar duo Bob Catley and Tony Clarkin are recording new material between melodic, pathos, progressive and hard rock. Magnum will perform these brand-new songs, but of course also epic evergreens from milestone albums like ”On A Storyteller's Night“, ”Vigilante“, “Wings of Heaven”, ”Chase the Dragon“, ”Sacred Blood, ‘Divine’ Lies“, and ”Lost On The Road To Eternity“. Magnum have recently welcomed to their ranks brand new bass player Dennis Ward. He has already made quite the impression in bands like Pink Cream 69 and Unisonic before now joining Magnum.
