Das Zeitzeug_Festival für performative Künste wird seit 2011 als Initiative von Studierenden der Theaterwissenschaft, der Szenischen Forschung sowie Künstler*innen aus NRW organisiert. Es fördert einen interdisziplinären Austausch zwischen Kunstschaffenden an der Schwelle zur Professionalität. Dieses Jahr tritt das Zeitzeugchen anstelle des bisherigen Festivals, um Aufmerksamkeit auf das Zeitzeug_Festival 2020 zu lenken, die Lücke des diesjährigen Festivals zu thematisieren und die Tradition einer wichtigen Institution für Nachwuchsförderung fortzuführen. Zeitzeugchen ist ein Auftakt, ein Teaser oder aber auch ein Versprechen.
Am 15. November findet eine eintägige Veranstaltung statt, die gemeinsam mit dem Festival 2020 unter dem Motto „Apparat“ steht. Kommt vorbei und feiert mit uns 8 Jahre Zeitzeug_Festival.

Zeitzeug_Festival for performing arts is initiated since 2011 by students of theatre research, scenic research as well as artists of the NRW area. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange between artists on their way to professionalism. This years Zeitzeugchen occurs instead of the former festival in order to lead the attention to the Zeitzeug_Festival 2020, to adress the gap of this years festival and to keep on the tradition of an important institution for promoting young artists. Zeitzeugchen is a kick-off, a teaser or maybe a promise.
On November 15th there will be a one-day event, which will share the motto of “Apparat” with the festival 2020. Step by, join in and celebrate 8 years of Zeitzeug_Festival with us.
